Sales & Account
Management
Our 28 personnel Sales and Account Management team, service retail trade channels within the whole of the UK and Ireland including all the Highlands and Islands. Our field sales team, equipped with iPads running the Pixsell sales tool, visit independent pharmacies, department stores and nursery independents to capture orders directly at shop level. They help merchandise and ensure the best positioning for products to increase visibility. In field photography is provided to showcase products in situ. Customers are also able to create their own orders through our trade e-commerce website that is easy and convenient to use. This means we can service them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additionally, our national account managers oversee larger accounts, including major grocers, wholesalers, onliners and high street retailers. We are also set up for EDI ordering.
Buying &
Forecasting
Our Buying department is divided into specialised teams handling both UK and international suppliers and brand partners. Since 1984, Murrays have been sourcing products from the Far East and currently partners with 30 trusted suppliers from this region. This extensive network enables us to consistently offer competitive pricing, reliable availability and quality products. To further enhance our work flow, we have an in-house Mandarin-speaking team member, ensuring smooth and efficient communication. Both buying teams play a crucial role in ensuring optimal stock levels that meet demand by creating and managing forecasts. This strategic approach means that we maintain the perfect balance of inventory, delivering a seamless experience between the brands we supply and our trade customers. We also buy and manage supply for own label ranges for major UK Grocery & Highstreet retailers. Additionally, we use comprehensive Power BI reporting, which compiles and analyses our market data. This powerful tool enables stakeholders to make well-informed, data-driven decisions.
Logistics &
Operations
Logistics & Operations operate from a 50,000 sq ft warehouse at Mountpark Southampton, offering direct to store and distribution centre deliveries across the UK and Ireland. As an example of our speed of service, we efficiently pick, pack and dispatch orders placed on Monday morning by Monday afternoon for next-day delivery. Our entire facility is AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) compliant, ensuring secure handling, storage and transportation of our products and brands. The facility is also equipped to store more regulated items like aerosols in secured areas and has a designated storage unit for temperature controlled products. Our warehouse and management systems run on the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software. All our warehouse staff are GDP trained.

& Accounts
Our customer services team manage day-to-day enquiries, resolve any issues and provide support, ensuring timely and accurate communication. Meanwhile, the accounts department handles billing, payments, and financial records, maintaining financial accuracy and transparency. Together, these departments help build strong, reliable relationships with all stakeholders, helping meet expectation through exceptional service and precise financial management.
Design, Marketing
& Quality Control
The design department handles a wide range of projects, from packaging to point-of-sale displays, ensuring that all briefs are understood and correctly carried out. The marketing team is always available to support and collaborate on any activities, from OOH to social media campaigns. Our quality control team rigorously ensures that all our products comply with various legal requirements and standards, ensuring that only the best products reach our trade customers.
E-commerce

Our in house IT team’s expertise include setting up APIs and managing 3PL to ensure seamless integration and a smooth delivery process in B2C drop shipment.
